• How long does a hood filter last?
  Normally a hood filter is good for 4 - 6 months, depending on usage and types cooking.
• How should I clean the hood filters?
  The filter should not be cleaned but should be replaced at the end of its service life.
• The hood has no suction power. What is the cause?
  This could be due to a problem with the motor or the hood filter getting clogged up.
• What percentage of cooking fume can the hood extract?
  The amount of smoke extraction depends on the cooking method. For methods with high heat e.g. deep frying or wok-frying, the percentage is approx. 30%. For boiling, the percentage can go up to 70%.
• After the hood is turned off, there is still sound like the exhaust fan is working. How can this happen?
  The sound of exhaust fan working when the power is off may be caused by outside air entering the chimney. This mostly happens with hoods installed on high-rise buildings.
